FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral processing and can be used in non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy and other branches of industry in flotation ore enrichment. Flotation classifier for ore enrichment includes a cylindrical chamber with a lower conical part and an upper part shaped as a truncated cone with a tangential branch pipe for the supply of the initial power located outside of the cylindrical part; a sand unloader located in the lower part of the chamber; a cylindrical drain collector open at the top with an inclined drain pipe and a pulp level controller, installed inside the chamber coaxially therewith; aerators installed in the inter-wall space the chamber and the cylindrical drain collector; narrowing chutes installed on the surface of the truncated cone of the chamber, with a horizontal upper edge of the sides and cuts made in the sides in the lower narrow part of the chutes for the release of the overflow product, equipped with branch pipes for the discharge of the underflow product of the narrowing chutes and underflow product output controllers in the lower narrow part; annular foam collecting chute for the overflow product of the narrowing chutes, installed outside of the chamber, with a branch pipe for the removal of the overflow product. An annular two-phase foam generator is installed in the upper part outside of the cylindrical drain collector, with an air dispersant located in the bottom and branch pipes for the supply of compressed air into the dispersant and a foaming agent solution into the foam generator. The bottom of the narrowing chutes is made concave downwards. Grids are installed over the branch pipes for the removal of the underflow product of the narrowing chutes for the passage of the liquid under-foam layer. The underflow product output controllers are made in the form of floats attached on a flexible base to the wall of the narrowing chutes with a density lower than that of the under-foam layer and higher than that of the foam layer; the shape of the lower surface of said floats repeats the shape of the concave bottom of the narrowing chutes.
EFFECT: higher effectiveness of flotation classification.
