FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: classifier has a housing divided by baffles into flotation chamber and hydraulic classification chamber, an aerator, an electrode unit having electrodes positioned in spaced relation to each other, a means for discharging sands, a drainage receiver and a frothy product receiver. The flotation chamber is communicated with the central part of the hydraulic classification chamber by slots. The electrodes are connected to the continuous current supply and have the form of plates positioned at a right angle to the baffles and at an acute angle to the vertical. The clearances between the electrodes decrease as the distance between the latters and the drainage receiver increases. On the upper surfaces of electrodes longitudinal recesses are formed.
