SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication systems and can be used in wireless communication systems using autonomous subframes with reference signal symbols for channel quality measurement. Wireless device communicates with the scheduling entity using a plurality of autonomous subframes, which include a first subframe and a second subframe. Each of the autonomous subframes includes an uplink portion (UL) and a downlink portion (DL). Wireless device further receives DL control information from the scheduling entity in the DL portion of the first subframe and transmits UL data, which include a plurality of reference signal packets to the scheduling entity in the UL portion of the first subframe. Multiple packets of the reference signal are uniformly spaced apart at least on the portion of the UL portion of the first subframe.

EFFECT: shorter time for uplink channel estimation.
