SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics, namely to seismology, and can be used for detailed seismic zoning of territories. Selection of focal zones of potential earthquakes in the earth's crust is performed by mathematical processing of 3D seismic tomography and gravity prospecting data in the same nodes of the spatial grid covering the investigated area.
EFFECT: possibility of determining the location of potential focal zones of earthquakes in the earth's crust.
