FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: seismic waves are registered in form of discrete readings of signals amplitude in mutually orthogonal planes in two points spaced on measuring base. Also axes of sensitive detectors of points on x coordinate are directed into the direction of the base. Geophones located in deep bore holes are used for registration. Time of expected shock and magnitude are forecast, and coordinates of hypocenter of earthquake source are determined.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of forecast.
