FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of machines and can be used in calibration of air mass flow sensors of cars equipped with microprocessor control system of internal combustion engine. Calibration is performed as follows: reference and verified sensors are installed on stand in series, air flow is supplied by fan through both sensors. Relative evaluation of signals from the reference and tested sensors is performed, providing discrete adjustment of the air flow rate using the fan control and air temperature. Difference of reference and verified sensors signals is obtained. Obtained sensor is calibrated from the obtained difference.

EFFECT: automation of the process and shorter duration of calibrating the inspected sensors; reduced duration of calibration and tests and provision of accuracy of calibration.
