SUBSTANCE: method to control power includes saving in data processing unit memory the reference engine power value, the value of reference cyclic combustion chamber filling with air, requesting the control unit for current values of cyclic filling with air and fuel injection time correction factor. Current value of power is calculated as product of current value of cyclic filling with air by fuel injection time correction factor. Current value of power in comparison with reference value is displayed. Method of on-board computer operation includes asking from engine control unit via vehicle data bus for values of engine operation parameters, their processing, saving processing result, its comparison with reference value and operations of power control method.
