FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peat industry, specifically to methods for reclamation of developed production fields of peat enterprises, and can be used in preparation of milled peat deposit for agricultural use. Method of preparation of milled peat deposit for agricultural use, dried with main, gross and card channels, consists in the fact that immediately after achieving residual peat layer of 1 m recultivation with filling of card channels for their entire length of uniformly coarse-grained sand with porosity of not less than 0.4 to form sand drain with cross-section area of 0.16 m², wherein part of card channels filled with coarse sand is filled with soil or peat, after which soil surface is profiled.

EFFECT: technical result consists in saving considerable funds intended for elimination of old drying system and creation of new, in ensuring sufficient cross-country capacity of excavating and agricultural equipment on the surface of the worked-out peat deposit and reducing the time of development of waste areas, primarily for agricultural purposes.
