FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the extraction of peat, specifically to the work on the restoration of peat bogs and the watering of the overcut peats. Drainage of overcut peats is a constructive scheme that includes, when using the irrigation of peats, existing waste collector 2 with blocking retaining structure 3 in the direction along the slope of the area with waste pipe 4. In this case, the method also consists in digging the gross channels in the form of dead-end storage channel 5, which is arranged perpendicular to discharge collector 2, on the overcut peats. Dead-end storage channel 5 is laid deep into the overcut peats without a slope (the option with a slope is possible). Thus, all dead-end storage channels 5 between the sections (maps) are brought to the design parameters in both directions from discharge collector 2. Blocking retaining structures are built from local soil, into the body of which waste pipes 4 are placed at a height equal to the maximum filling of discharge collector 2 in the locations perpendicular to it of the gross channels 5, which are filled by discharge collector 2. Gross channels 5 are filled with water to their design level corresponding to the maximum filtration flow through the walls of bulk dams. As a result, there is a watering of peat overcut peats, as well as an increase in peat groundwater.
EFFECT: use of the invention ensures the accumulation and maintenance of water within the boundaries of the developed peatlands, as well as improve the ecological situation.
