SUBSTANCE: snowshoe (10) comprises shoe support plate (12), front attachment (14) and rear fastener (16). Plate (12) has a substantially flat configuration in form of a grid formed by a plurality of hollow prismatic elements (18a, 18b) partially overlapping each other. Main axis (x) of each hollow prismatic element (18a, 18b) is inclined at an angle (α), making value between 20° and 70° relative to mid plane of plate (12), so that lower edges (20a, 20b) of hollow prismatic elements (18a, 18b) form sharp edges (20a, 20b), which provide adhesion of plate (12) with snow.
EFFECT: inner surfaces (19a, 19b) of hollow prismatic elements (18a, 18b) generally provide high resistance to penetration into snow and allow to distribute the user weight over the larger contact surface, thus ensuring good cross-country ability.
