FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to control systems of technological processes, and more specifically to valve control. Pair of positioning devices (204, 206) is located in configuration with high serviceability, and separately connected to controller (216). First positioning device (204) comprises an output connected to switch (218), and second positioning device (206) comprises an output connected to switch (218). Operational state of the first positioning device (204) is monitored, and the output signal of the first or second positioning device (204, 206) can pass through switch (218) to control valve (214) depending on the operational state of the first positioning device (204).
EFFECT: system and method of valve control increases serviceability of control valve assembly used in control process.
