FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine equipment, and more specifically to marine scientific and research gas-fuel vessels intended for scientific research in the sea and simultaneously serving as a base for training specialists for crews of gas-fuel vessels. Power plant of vessel is gas-fuel, containing regasificator, reduction gear for reduction of excess pressure of gas supplied to power plant, gas-fuel tank, in series connected by main line equipped with shutoff-connecting valves, with regasificator, with reduction gear and with gas-fuel power plant, and a system for automatics and control of operation of a power plant, connected to said accessories and a central control panel. At that, the vessel is equipped with a room, in which there is at least one workplace in the form of a computer simulator simulating operation of a gas-fuel power plant using the software installed on it. Software is configured to introduce commands simulating functioning of gas-fuel power plant and processing the data entered therein, followed by outputting to the monitor the processed results obtained during simulation of operation of the gas-fuel power plant on the simulator for training specialists in operation of power plants on gas fuel.
EFFECT: proposed scientific research vessel with gas-fuel power plant provides for the possibility of training domestic specialists for crews of gas-fuel vessels.
