SUBSTANCE: training center for ship crews contains workstations (AWS) of trainees, a programmable simulation unit, training result evaluation unit, APM of the training group supervisor, a mode and training type selection unit, interconnected in a certain way. The simulation block contains shapers of: ship dynamics parameters, external action sensor models, situational model of navigation circumstances, a control object shaper unit. The training result evaluation unit contains a block of test evaluation of trainees, a training result evaluation unit, control evaluation criteria shaper, decision unit. The APM of the training supervisor includes a personal computer, visualization and documentating units. The selection module contains training modes and types switching unit.

EFFECT: expansion of the functional capabilities of the training center in assessing the professional suitability of trainees.
