FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inclined swinging roasting furnaces of drum type used in industry of construction materials for fabrication of light swollen filling. Furnace contains lined drum with sector cutout installed on roller supports and opening angle of 150–160° in high-temperature zone, and in cooling zone there is additionally at least one sector cutout, in which there is a collector for supply of cooling air, burner devices and drive, drum is made multisection, multi-threaded helical and is mounted from sections made of alternately connected equilateral and isosceles triangles, which side sides are equal to each other, and bases of isosceles triangles is more than length of their lateral sides, wherein sections are connected to each other by free sides and total number of equilateral and isosceles triangles in section is even and is equal to at least six with formation along perimeter of drum at least three broken helical lines and grooves of main and opposite directions, respectively, with step varying from loading to unloading.
