FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: furnace includes a lined cone-shaped drum with a sector cut-out and with an aperture angle of 150-160° in a high-temperature zone, which is installed horizontally on roller supports, a cooling air supply manifold arranged in the sector cut-out formed in a cooling zone, burner devices and a drive; the drum is screw-shaped and mounted using three or more trapezoid-shaped strips of different width, with their increase as to length and with zones of weak section, which are made in turn on their opposite sides at an angle of 60° to their axis and made in the form of notches with bevelled walls for formation along the drum perimeter of many-sided surfaces out of triangles alternatively located with each other with their lateral sides; the strips are twisted in longitudinal direction relative to their longitudinal axes and bent in transverse direction along the helical line on a conical mandrel with formation along the drum perimeter of three and more helical lines and helical surfaces of the main and opposite directions with an alternating increasing pitch of helical lines.
