FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics and can be used for analysis of erythrocyte density distribution (REDP). That is ensured by successively filling 15 hematocrit capillaries with a mixture of phthalates and the analyzed blood sample. Capillaries are centrifuged. Elevations of erythrocyte columns located above and under a mixture of phthalates in each capillary are measured. That is followed by calculating the percentage of upper erythrocyte fraction for each capillary. Integral distribution of erythrocytes by density is constructed, on the basis of which the differential density distribution of erythrocytes is constructed. Additionally, after centrifugation of capillaries, rotor temperature is measured by contact thermometer. Determination of density distribution of erythrocytes for each capillary is performed taking into account rotor temperature after centrifugation.
EFFECT: invention provides more reliable and accurate assessment of erythrocyte density distribution in patients.
