FIELD: biochemical analysis. SUBSTANCE: method, which can be used for diagnosing anemic syndromes and hemostasis system disorders, resides in the following. Venous blood is taken from a patient, citrate blood sample is prepared in a known way, hematocrit capillary is half filled with citrate blood and the other half of capillary is filled with aqueous solution of verografin having density 1.1315 g/cu.cm. Capillary on its verografin side is sealed and centrifuged during 9-10 min in hematocrit centrifuge at 10000-155000 g. Appearance of a small rose-colored cloud over dense red cell sediment is estimated as presence of light-weight fraction of erythrocytes, that is positive test, and absence of that (transparent supernatant) is regarded as negative test. EFFECT: simplified procedure, increased reproducibility of assay, reduced time and material consumption. 4 ex
