FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis or analysis of energy materials (EM) by determining their physical properties, namely, to devices for determining characteristics of sensitivity of EM to impact friction. Proposed device comprises two cuvettes arranged in casing opposite each other and designed to press EM specimens therein to protrude above cuvette edges. One cuvette is rigidly fixed in the housing, and the second cuvette is installed with possibility of movement relative to the first cuvette in directions coaxial and perpendicular to their common axis. There are through holes in the body opposite the side surface of the second cuvette on opposite sides; a head is installed in the upper hole, and the lower hole has a width not less than the diameter of the cuvette, and the length is not less than the height of the cuvette. In the device there is a heating unit, and in the cuvettes there are control and control thermal sensors.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of SM ignition due to internal friction in analysed substance; device makes it possible to determine sensitivity of EM to friction at heating of contacting surfaces of pressed powder.
