FIELD: testing technique.

SUBSTANCE: : invention relates to testing technique, namely to technique for determining the sensitivity of explosives to mechanical influences, such as shock, friction or vibration. The method can be used to assess technological and transport security. The method for determining the sensitivity of an explosive to vibration loads involves mechanical action on the explosive, fixing the presence or absence of an explosion to determine its sensitivity. A sample of 0.05 g of explosive pressed to 13 MPa is placed between rollers with a diameter of 10 mm and fixed in a coupling with a gap of 0.02-0.03 mm between the diameter of the coupling and the rollers mounted on a pallet in a roller device. The pallet is placed in the test unit of the vibration device. For a specified time or until it ignites, a vibration load is applied. As a result of the test, the ignition time of the test sample τig, vibration acceleration a and dynamic load PA are fixed, and the frequency of explosions is determined by the sound effect, the presence of flame, by imprints and soot on the ends of the roller.

EFFECT: creation of a more accurate and simple method for determining the sensitivity to vibration of explosives.
