FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of alloys for permanent magnets, can be used for production of high-energy permanent magnets of system (Nd, Pr)-Fe-B. Mixture for obtaining thermostable magnetic alloys by calcium thermal reduction method to produce compact ingots of rare-earth metals at following ratio of components, wt. %: Rare-earth metal fluoride 70.0–73.0 %, calcium metal 27.0÷30.0 %. Ratio Pr/ΣR in fluoride - 10.0÷75.0 %.
EFFECT: composition of charge reduces the technological cycle of fabrication of material by obtaining a rare-earth composition of the required composition.
