SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pantographs of vehicles, particularly, to structural features of rods. Current collector for trolleybus comprises current-collecting element and rod made up of two articulated lower and upper parts of rod. Lower part of the rod is rigidly attached to the housing, and the upper part is hinged to the lower part. On the lower part of the rod there is a cam with a variable radius of curvature, from the profile of which the rope goes to the drum rigidly connected to the upper part of the rod. One end of the spring is attached to the body and the other one to the drum of the cam.

EFFECT: technical result is providing constant contact force between head of current collector and contact wire.
