SUBSTANCE: invention relates to current collectors of vehicles. Current collector of the lower current collection contains a shoe with a holder which is in constant contact from below with a contact rail, a cylindrical spring, a cam, rods-guides of translational movement of the shoe, a fixed unit and a rope. Cam is fixed on axis of rotation and is connected to one end of spring, the other end of which is fixed on bar. Cam has a variable radius of curvature. Cable descending from cam is thrown through stationary unit and connected with shoe holder.

EFFECT: longer service life of a current collector.
