FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of recovering activity of a zeolite-containing catalyst for isodeparaffinising diesel fuel in the presence of a hydrogen-containing gas and can be used in oil refining. Disclosed is a method of reducing activity of a zeolite-containing catalyst at high temperature and pressure, including a step for processing a hydrogen-containing gas, wherein the zeolite-containing catalyst used is a nickel-molybdenum catalyst for diesel isodeparaffinification process, which is first subjected to treatment with a light hydrocarbon fraction in a circulating hydrogen-containing gas medium, with subsequent two-step treatment with hydrogen-containing gas, wherein hydrogen-containing gas is a mixture of hydrogen-containing gas and hydrogen sulphide with hydrogen sulphide content of 0.2–0.4 vol%.
EFFECT: method allows almost complete recovery of initial activity of a zeolite-containing nickel-molybdenum catalyst, as well as longer service life of the catalyst before oxidative regeneration.
