SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for preparing an agent possessing actoprotective and antioxidant action. Method for producing an agent having actoprotective and antioxidant action, which is a thick extract of fresh pumpkin fruits, in which fresh common pumpkin fruits are cleaned from soft bark and seeds, ground state is crushed, then sequentially extracted three times with 40 % ethyl alcohol in ratio of phases of extractant raw material 1:10 in boiling water bath with reflux each time for 60 minutes, all three portions of extracts are combined, condensed at temperature of 40 °C and rarefaction 0.4 atm, additionally drying at temperature of 40–50 °C and vacuum of 0.2—0.3 atm in vacuum drying cabinet to residual moisture content of not more than 25 %. Method for producing an agent having actoprotective and antioxidant action, which is a thick extract of fresh pumpkin fruits, in which fresh common pumpkin fruits are cleaned from soft bark and seeds, milled to crumb condition, extracted with 40 % ethyl alcohol in a boiling water bath in three flasks with reflux each time for 30 minutes: first, in three portions of extraction agent three times, raw material is successively extracted in flask I at ratio of phases of extractant raw material 1:10, then extracts obtained in flask I, three times sequential extraction of raw material in flask II at ratio of phases of extractant raw material is 1:10, then extractions obtained in flask II, successively extract raw material in flask III three times at ratio of phases of extractant raw material 1:10, all three portions of extracts are combined, condensed at temperature of 40 °C and rarefaction 0.4 atm, additionally drying at temperature of 40–50 °C and vacuum of 0.2–0.3 atm in vacuum drying cabinet to residual moisture content of not more than 25 %. Pharmaceutical composition possessing actoprotective and antioxidant action.

EFFECT: agents obtained using the above methods and a based composition thereof have evident actoprotective and antioxidant action.
