FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: unit (3) of the device for series electrical connection to control unit (1) and power supply through control unit (1) comprises an instrument module comprising at least one controlled light generating module (23) and/or at least one controlled auxiliary module (23) to perform functionality different from light generation; and control module (27) for matching the power mode for instrument unit (3) with control unit (1). Bypass module (21) is capable of providing current passage through device unit (3) such that bypass module (21) is configured to provide current passage to enable power supply unit (1) to be separately from any current, passage of which is provided by means of at least one controlled light generating module (23) and at least one controlled auxiliary module (25).

EFFECT: technical result is providing accessibility of intelligent lighting units for upgraded solutions and for new installations, as well as providing compatibility with existing "two-wire" wall boxes, in which there is no zero wire.
