FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment based on video measurement – computer processing of an image of an observed object in a television video signal. Disclosed video sensor of a video measuring system comprises a video camera with a position-sensitive matrix photodetector, an address encoder and a communication line interface, as well as a video processor with a microcontroller. In video processor there is a threshold potential, relative to which from video signal of video camera there are allocated coordinates of contour points of image of observed object in video frame, wherein the video processor input is connected to the video camera output, the microcontroller data inputs are connected to the address encoder outputs, and the microcontroller data output and input are connected to the communication line interface data input and output, respectively.
EFFECT: simplified design and reduced measurement error.
