FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment. Method of measuring liquid level in vessels of hydrostatic levelling device is based on computer processing of images of light sources in television video signal. Images of light sources in a television video signal are placed on sections of lines parallel to television lines of a video frame. Ratio of lengths of line segments to distance between them is set equal to video frame format. Fluid level in hydrostatic level vessels is calculated by simplified formula.
EFFECT: high accuracy of video measurements.
