FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Proposed fuel injection valve 100 comprises nozzle housing 131, valve body 135 and valve seat 137. Valve body 135 and valve seat 137 define space for fuel S2 to be shielded from fuel injection hole 131a and provided with fuel in case the valve body is in the position of seating in the seat section of the valve. Space for fuel S2 includes at least a space between the side surface of the valve body and the surface forming the space for seating the valve seat. Valve body and valve seat are made with possibility to force space for fuel and fuel injection hole to communicate with each other in case valve body is in the state of separation from valve seat section. Light-emitting section 122 is located in position, in which space for fuel is irradiated by means of transmitted light.
EFFECT: invention allows improving efficiency of fuel heating before its injection into engine combustion chamber.
