FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing porous material from ultrafine oxide ceramic powder and additives-blowing agents and can be used to produce filtering ceramic materials or medical materials. Method involves preparation of mixture from ultradisperse oxide ceramic powder ZrO2, Al2O3, MgO and powdered additives-pore-formers. Large porosity porous additive used is an organic additive with particle size of 20–150 mcm, removed in low-temperature annealing, and to form fine cohesive porosity, mixture is added with hydroxide of same element as sintered ceramic, decomposable during low-temperature annealing to oxide and steam, wherein powders of oxide ceramics and hydroxides of one dispersion are used. Mixture is molded by cold uniaxial pressing, low-temperature annealing and final sintering at temperature 1,500–1,650 °C.
EFFECT: technical result is production of porous ceramic material with bimodal distribution of porosity, that is pore structure consisting of large and small connected pores with porosity of up to 80 %.
