SUBSTANCE: invention generally relates to a drainage device and, in particular, to a drain device for draining liquid from a pipeline system for fluids. Drain device comprises pipe segment (12) comprising hole (14) defined by annular wall portion (16) and drain tube (20) comprising inlet end (22) configured to be introduced into said opening (14) and engage with said circular part of wall so, that annular part of wall is slightly bent inwards thus providing tight engagement with input end. Spring clamp with latch is installed on drain tube (20) for reliable engagement with outer wall of pipe segment (12) to facilitate fixation of input end in hole (14). Inserted end (22) comprises channel (24) providing fluid communication between tube segment (12) and drain tube (20). Cutout (25) is made with possibility to supply fluid medium from pipe segment (12) into channel. Also disclosed are a method of providing a drain device, a drain tube and a fuel system of the vehicle, comprising said drain device.
