FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment, in particular to devices for testing metals and alloys, as well as composite materials and coatings for wear resistance by loose abrasive. Installation comprises a loading mechanism, including a test sample, a striker, weights and a loading mechanism control system, drum with cells for abrasive mass, performing periodic rotary sliding with specified pitch, batcher for supply of abrasive mass. Supply of abrasive mass from batcher, removal of waste mass into hopper and sample impact on abrasive mass are performed during drum stop. Loading mechanism control system is implemented by means of a solenoid controlled by a timer and adjusted in height by a step electric motor, provides after the sample impact its friction against the abrasive mass with the specified pressure during the drum rotation.
EFFECT: possibility of carrying out wear tests with an abrasive mass under conditions of impact and subsequent friction against the abrasive mass.
