FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment, in particular to devices for testing metals and alloys, as well as composite materials and coatings for resistance to abrasive wear at low, normal and elevated temperatures under conditions of friction, impact and friction with impact on an abrasive surface. The installation contains a frame on which the impact mechanism is located, a control system for the impact mechanism, a mechanism for moving the abrasive belt, a mechanism for rotating the sample around its own axis by 90° relative to the abrasive belt, a system for disconnecting the power supply to the installation in the event of the end or break of the belt, a system for maintaining the temperature of the sample test a heat-insulated chamber in which the test specimen is installed.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring uniform wear of the friction surface of the sample and increasing reliability of the test during friction with impact on the abrasive surface.
