FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of extracting metal concentrates from oil, involving contacting a hydrocarbon medium with an aqueous medium to form an emulsion and separation thereof. Hydrocarbon medium used is heavy oil and water in volume ratio of 1:1, which is placed in oxidation reactor chamber, where mixture is heated to temperature from 15 to 25 °C, bringing the Ph value by the aqueous solution of sulfuric acid H2SO4 to value from 2.8 to 3.2, with air blowing, under pressure of 1 atm for at least two minutes, formed emulsion is subjected to separation in a centrifuge with formation of a solid phase, in form of a concentrate of metals, which is sent for further processing, aqueous acid solution, directed back into the production cycle, and an organic phase – oil, which is sent for further processing at the refinery.
EFFECT: method of extracting nonferrous metal concentrates from crude oil.
