FIELD: oil production and oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil production and oil refining, and in particular to a method for removing resinous-asphaltene substances from heavy oil, as well as its desulfurization. The method for deasphalting heavy oil includes adding silicone liquid to it, mixing, separating resinous-asphaltene substances and separating the light product from the silicone liquid by distillation, in which silicone oil is used as the silicone liquid, which is polydimethylsiloxane with a molecular weight of 1250-28000 g/mol, with the following ratio of components (wt.%): silicone oil 33-94; heavy oil - the rest, and resinous-asphaltene substances are separated by decantation to obtain a ready-made bituminous binder.
EFFECT: complete removal of resinous-asphaltene substances from heavy oil at lower energy costs and the possibility of using the resulting resinous-asphaltene substances as a finished commercial product - a bituminous binder with a lower viscosity, as well as obtaining a light product with a lower sulfur content.
