FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for processing heavy oil residues, such as atmospheric-vacuum distillation residues of petroleum and residual high-boiling fractions of thermo-and thermo-hydro-destructive processes for obtaining valuable metals, including rare and rare-earth metals, as well as generation of heat and/or electricity. The method includes extraction of heavy oil raw material with solvent-supercritical carbon dioxide with addition from 10 to 30 wt % from the solvent mass of the liquid organic modifier selected from methanol, ethanol, acetone, acetonitrile, ethyl acetate, n-heptane, toluene, o-xylene at temperature from 40 to 70°C and pressure from 150 to 400 bar, selected so that the density of carbon dioxide is not below 0.8 g/ml, thereby obtaining a resin-asphaltene residue, distilling off the solvent, burning tar-asphaltene residue at temperature from 900 to 1300°C with air excess factor from 1.1 to 1.3 and removing ash-slag residue as concentrate of valuable metals.
EFFECT: simultaneous extraction of oil components with minimum content of metals and concentrate with maximum content of valuable metals, including rare and rare-earth.
