FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to rivets, and is aimed at improvement of reliability and strength of rivet and joint as a whole. Rivet consists of rod made of polymer composite material with fibers oriented along its axis, with cylindrical head at one end, installed in housing, consisting of cylindrically coaxial embedded head and bushing, at that, the lower part of the bushing is made on the cone, between the cylindrical head of the rivet and the lower part of the housing sleeve there is a ring, the length of the housing sleeve is equal to the thickness of the connected parts, and cone of lower part of housing sleeve is located under connected parts by ring thickness, outer diameter of housing sleeve is equal to diameter of cylindrical head of rivet, and inner is to diameter of rod, outer diameter of ring is equal to outer diameter of sleeve. On the rod there is a thread in its entire length and a calibrated neck located from the cylindrical head of the rivet at a distance equal to thickness of the connected parts. Double-sided lengthwise flat is made from calibrated neck to rod end. Housing hub and rod form helical pair, and housing insert head has hexagonal shape. Ring is made from titanium alloy.
EFFECT: invention discloses a rivet and method of producing a permanent rivet joint in carbon composite structures.
