FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for non-detachable connection of parts made of a composite material. Rivet comprises a rod made of a polymer composite material with fibres oriented along the axis thereof. The rod has a cylindrical head at one end, a thread along the entire length, a calibrated neck located at a distance from the cylindrical head, and a two-sided longitudinal flat extending from the calibrated neck to the end of the rod. A washer made of a hardened composite material, the outer diameter whereof is 0.5 to 5 mm greater than the size of the hole in the connected parts, is set on the head. The washer has cutouts along the outer diameter, forming lobes, elastically deformed when passing through the hole of the connected parts, and flattening outside of the hole. A sleeve made of a prepreg of a composite material is installed supported by the washer and compressed by a nut made of a hardened composite material. After heating the sleeve to the temperature of polymerisation of the prepreg, the parts of the rivet and the connected material turn into a durable monolith.
EFFECT: increase in the security of the resulting connection is provided as a result.
