FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in electrical engineering and electric power engineering for control over electric power grids in emergency situations. Device for remote disconnection of damaged section of electric circuit comprises power network, differential current transformer with two primary and one secondary windings, connected by output of two primary opposite connected windings with load, an infrared radiation source in the form of an infrared diode and generating infrared waves, a rectifier, an amplifier and a tripping device which receives the infrared radiation from the infrared radiation source and is triggered by said waves. Besides, the power supply network is connected to the input of two primary counter-connected windings of the transformer through the tripping device, the secondary winding of the transformer through the rectifier is connected to the input of the amplifier, the output of which is connected to the source of infrared radiation.
EFFECT: increased reliability of tripping device operation and simplified procedure of its action on actuator.
