FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of diffraction grids on non-planar working surfaces with large deflection needle. Dividing machine comprises bed with separating carriage with its displacement drive and dividing carriage position sensor, and cutter carriage made in form of pendulum, with its displacement drive, made with possibility to provide angular self-oscillations of cutter carriage relative to its axis, which is fixed on rotation supports arranged on the bedplate, diamond cutter installed on the cutter carriage with its lifting and lowering mechanism for the stroke formation and the said drives and the mechanism control unit. Dividing carriage is installed on rotation supports with the possibility of rotation relative to the axis located along its support of rotation; at that, the cutter carriage is equipped with a counterweight located at its end below the axis of angular auto-oscillations of the cutter carriage.

EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to expand technological capabilities of machine.
