FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of diffraction gratings on concave surfaces with large deflection needle. Dividing machine comprises bed with separating carriage with drive of its displacement and separating carriage turn sensor and cutter carriage made in the form of pendulum with drive of its movement, made with possibility to provide angular self-oscillations of cutter carriage relative to its axis, which is fixed on rotation supports arranged on the bedplate, diamond cutter mounted on cutter carriage with its lifting and lowering mechanism and control unit of said drives and mechanism. Dividing carriage additionally contains a dividing mechanism.
EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to expand technological capabilities of machine.
