FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation and can be used to improve control means (CM) surface-to-air missile systems or systems. In the first version of the survey method of space, based on primary examination of space using a long-wave radar station∂ and then – by means of short-wave RSs, generating signals radar station∂ with speed resolution, determining angular coordinates of sectors not containing targets, which are excluded from space to be inspected by means of RSs, and in second version of method of scanning space using radar station∂ determining angular coordinates and ranges to targets, generating gates on said coordinates, which are viewed using RSs, using signals with speed resolution with unambiguous range within gates.
EFFECT: longer target detection range CM, high noise-immunity against passive interference.
