FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging. Method is based on primary space survey using radar station RS∂ or transceiver module TM∂ with wave length λ∂ and subsequent inspection with the help of radar stations with wavelength λs<λ∂, on the string and accompanying tracks according to the radar stations. At that angular coordinates of sectors containing targets are determined, and ranges to targets are measured using radar stations ∂ or TM∂, and using radar stations, space is inspected in these sectors only. Control means comprises a radar station with a wavelength λs and combat control point (CCP), inputs-outputs of which are connected to outputs-inputs of radar stations. CCP output is control device output. Also included is a radar station ∂ or transceiver module – TM∂ with wave length λ∂>λs. Inputs and outputs of radar station ∂ or TM∂ are connected to additional outputs-inputs of radar stations and/or CCP.

EFFECT: increased range of target detection, increased noise immunity from active interference, increased stealthiness.
