FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to methods of correction and stabilization of measurement parameters of scintillation detectors of ionizing radiations (SDR). Method comprises adjusting sensitivity of SDR to a certain type of radiation to a desired value through varying supply voltage of photoelectric multiplier (PEM), which enable to establish an optimum operating mode, for which the SDR is irradiated with a reference ionizing radiation source, which is placed at a certain distance from the SDR, depending on the type of radiation and the desired sensitivity value, and recording number of electric pulses per unit time at different voltage values and constant number of photons incident on photocathode of PEM, during processing of measurement results voltage is selected, in which per unit of time number of registered electric pulses corresponds to required value of sensitivity, at that, as the recording equipment, a digital oscilloscope is used, which is started to collect measurement results, reading results and their subsequent processing is carried out in automated mode using a control computer, software of which enables to establish an optimum number of recording cycles to provide the required sensitivity with deviation of not more than ±10 %.

EFFECT: high accuracy of tuning SDR.
