FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for determining amplitude-phase distribution in an opening phased antenna array, including reception or emission of signals phased antenna array, wherein signals are transferred by electromagnetic field. Further, phase shifts of signals passing through one or more elements phased antenna array, measurement of amplitude and phase of signal transmitted or received by auxiliary antenna by measuring equipment, determination of amplitude and phase of elements excitation from measured data. At that, phased antenna array is located in such area, where emitted or received electromagnetic field represents flat electromagnetic wave. Electric lengths of paths from elements phased antenna array before measurement equipment input are arbitrary, and opening plane phased antenna array are placed at an angle relative to front of flat electromagnetic wave. Prior to measurement, distances Tu and Tν in coordinate system (u, ν), set of P beam directions with coordinates (us, νs), covering in coordinate system (u, ν) rectangular area, length of which along coordinate u is Tu, and length along coordinate ν is 2*Tν, wherein beam directions are located in this area along grid with steps Δu and Δν, less than or equal to λ/Lx and λ/Ly respectively, phase shifts of signals passing through elements are changed phased antenna array, installing beam phased antenna array in one direction of the set, and measuring amplitude Fs and phase ψs signal, then operations are repeated, each time setting beam phased antenna array successively to other directions, determining amplitude-phase distribution (An, ϕn) at aperture phased antenna array.

EFFECT: improving accuracy and reducing time for determination of PRA in opening phased antenna array.
