FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: to obtain minimum specific magnetic losses during remagnetization and high induction with minimum anisotropy of magnetic properties, steel is melted, optionally vacuuming, hot rolling, optionally normalization, single cold rolling of strip at final thickness, preliminary high-speed heating with heating rate of not less than 100 °C/s to temperatures of 750–1200 °C with further cooling, then, optional decarburising annealing and final recrystallization annealing, wherein heating for decarburizing and/or recrystallization annealing is carried out at a rate of less than 100 °C/s to curing temperature in range of 750–1200 °C.
EFFECT: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to production of isotropic electrical steel used for making magnetic conductors of electrical equipment operating in a rotating magnetic field.
