FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: steel containing from 2.3 to 5.0 wt % is cast, and having a preset composition of chemical elements enabling to determine the parameter to control the effects of deposition of phases by using formulas, which is the sum of the molar concentrations of the elements that can form precipitated phases for nitrides and sulphides/selinides. A cured slab is hot rolled in two steps within less than 6 minutes, with the first step of hot-rolling being performed until the strip thickness is from 15 to 30 mm, with the degree of compression being at least 50%, while the second step of hot rolling - with the temperature of beginning of rolling being between 880°C and 1150°C in order to obtain a sheet thickness of less than 5 mm, then a strip is cooled, folded, has decarburisation annealing and primary recrystallisation, cold rolling, decarburisation annealing, deposition of annealing separator based on MgO, secondary recrystallisation annealing, nitriding.

EFFECT: continuous improvement of magnetic characteristics.
