FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas separation. Method includes at least two cycles of steps, each of which involves adsorption and separate desorption. Desorption involves desorption of xenon and first accompanying gases, each of which has desorption activation energy lower than that of xenon, and then desorption of second accompanying gases, each of which has desorption activation energy higher than that of xenon. During the first desorption the adsorber is evacuated at pressure and temperature, which provide xenon desorption, and a gas mixture is obtained, which is accumulated in a closed volume. During the second desorption, the adsorber is evacuated at lower pressure and at a temperature which ensures desorption of the associated gas, having the highest desorption activation energy from the second accompanying gases. At the last cycle of steps, the gas mixture accumulated in the closed volume is used as the initial cycle, and during the first desorption the highly enriched xenon concentrate is obtained.
EFFECT: invention enables to use mixtures with low content of xenon, improves quality and reduces prime cost of the end product.
