FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging and can be used in radar systems with synthesis of aperture and continuous linear frequency-modulated (LFM) radiation of unmanned aerial vehicles for mapping of earth (sea) surface. Said technical result is achieved by compensating for irregular non-linearities of the modulation characteristic of the LFM signal generator, wherein the on-board segment includes serially connected frequency synthesizer, phase detector and tracking device, output of which is connected to the input of the LFM signal generator, as well as a frequency divider, the input of which is connected to the fourth output of the LFM signal generator, and the output is connected to the second input of the phase detector, wherein the second output of the frequency synthesizer is connected to the second input of the tracking device, and the second output of the navigation system is connected to the input of the frequency synthesizer.
EFFECT: technical result is high resolution of radar system.
