FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and civil construction and can be used in marine and river construction of port facilities, construction of embankments and moorages, retaining walls during shore protection works, as well as in road construction, construction of tunnels and foundations in cramped conditions. Sheet pile comprises bent U-, or Ω- or Z-shaped body made of metal sheet, and locking elements located at the ends of U-like side flanges or at the ends of walls of Ω- or Z-shaped body, for connection of pile with adjacent piles in pile wall. Wall and side flanges of pile body are made in the form of part of mutually intersecting or interfaced circular cylindrical or circular cylindrical and flat surfaces, wherein centres of circular cylindrical surfaces of side shelves are located below lower surface of pile by value equal to Y≥R×S/Hl-0.5×Hl, where R is inner radius of cylindrical surfaces of side flanges of pile body, cm, S is thickness of pile body, cm, Hl – height of locking elements of pile, cm, and centre of circular cylindrical surface of wall is located at equal distance between centres of circular cylindrical surfaces of pile side walls.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of loading capacity, stiffness and stability of piles when they are submerged into soil by method of indenting or driving with pile driver during construction of tongue-and-groove wall, higher reliability of connection of piles in tongue-and-groove wall without opening of lock joints, ensuring piling of manufactured piles one into one without "sticking" of their surfaces at disassembling of packages on construction site.
