FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction in the field of engineering protection of the territory from hazardous geological processes (landfalls, landslides, etc.) and hydrotechnical construction of structures using metal tongue. Sheet pile contains U-, or Ω-, or Z-shaped body and locking elements located on end parts of body for connection of pile with adjacent piles in sheet pile wall. Each of the side walls of the pile body contains at least three faces with obtuse angles α between each other, bottom and base, located on the inner and outer sides of the tongue, equal to 135°–155°, wherein the widths of the middle face and bottom are 0.95–2.0 of the width of the extreme faces of the walls.

EFFECT: increasing load capacity of sheet pile, increasing local stability of pile profile during immersion and operation.
